“Another Great Week” Newsletter from Principal Ferguson
Dear Lancer Families,
This week at Mass, Fr. Sunny talked with the students about the story of Jonah and the people of Nineveh. In the story of Jonah, God spared the city of Nineveh from destruction after its inhabitants, warned of an impending judgment, repented and fasted, demonstrating God's mercy and willingness to forgive. The main message that Fr. Sunny wanted to impart to the students was about God's compassion and willingness to forgive those who sincerely repent, no matter how sinful they may have been. He also highlighted the importance of obedience to God's will and the power of repentance in sparing judgment.
In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day on Monday, students may wear a Green shirt or St. Patrick’s Day shirt with uniform bottoms. However, because St. Joseph’s Day is a Mass day…Students will be in regular uniform.
