Information About Volunteering

All parents are part of SMPO! We count on all our school families to participate in the programming and leadership for our school and for our children. Time commitments are listed below for our volunteer opprotunities. If you have any questions or want to volunteer, email smpopresident@gmail.com.

Short Time Commitments

• Volunteer to help at lunch one day for Fun Food Friday

• Volunteer at one of our many events!  Many of these require time commitments of as little as an hour or two.  Some examples are Lancer Dash, Grandparents Day, Santa’s Secret Workshop, Oktoberfest, Donuts with Santa and so many more!

• Help at the Book Fair

Medium Time Commitments

• Head Room Parent 

• Chair a one day event such as Fun Day or Santa’s Secret Workshop

• Yearbook Committee

Larger Commitments

• Join the SMPO Executive Board!

• Chair an on-going event
