Dear Current Preschool 4 Families,

With returning family enrollment coming up after Thanksgiving, I wanted to write and share with you some info about Kindergarten.

Because you are a current family, we guarantee a spot for your child in Kindergarten! If you are new to our Kindergarten program, and looking to get a closer look and learn more, we’d like to invite you to a Kindergarten Tour and Q&A for all CURRENT Preschool families on Tuesday, November 14th at 9am! We will tour the classrooms, give a presentation about our Kindergarten program, and have a Q&A specific to our current families with preschoolers. It is not necessary to attend this, but simply an option if you would like a closer look.

The soonest deadline for Current Families to complete anything for re-enrollment is December 15, so there is still time before any decisions have to be made. Although “new” family applications “open” earlier, they simply build in a queue, and ALL current students/families are first placed in their preferred classes before any new family students are added. If you are questioning Full-Day vs Half-Day Kindergarten, no final decision has to be made yet. If you are still uncertain at the time of filling out the Current Family enrollment information, we ask that you enroll in the option that you believe best suits your child at this time. Even after this, however, we can work with you and the current teacher to adjust your choice for a best fit come fall 2024.  Typically only about 10% of families choose Half-Day…and as the year progresses, this number dwindles as most switch to Full-Day.
