“Another Great Week” Newsletter from Principal Ferguson
Dear Lancer Families,
After a couple busy weeks, we have a fairly normal (yet short) week next week. I hope everyone enjoys the long weekend and stays warm with the cold temps and snow that are scheduled to come our way.
Senior Valentine’s Day Party: This year, we were able to bring back our Annual Valentine’s Day Party for the Seniors in our parish and larger Wheaton Community. All throughout the week, students at every grade level helped prepare goodie bags, prayer cards, place mats, table decorations, and brought in treats. Our 7th graders helped greet our guests, played bingo, served them treats, and had great fellowships with our special Seniors. The day also included a mini performance from our SHINE Show Choir, who sang a medley of songs. It was a great day for all, and we can’t wait for next year’s party! Special thank you to Rose Armbrust-Griffin, and her team of Gina Payne and Morgan Dowell, for organizing all the moving pieces behind the scenes to make this party such a success.
